Group Residency - $35.00
Millay Colony awards one five-day Group Residency each year to a group of between three-seven collaborating artists. The residency is awarded through an application process and includes private bedrooms/studios, public meeting places and all meals.
The residency is available to any artists' groups, including musicians and bands, publishing collectives, theater and dance troupes, galleries, etc, or simply individuals collaborating on a project.
The group awarded the residency will be able to stay for 4-5 days at the end of one of the regular residency months, and will include private bedrooms, studios and all meals. Travel to & from the colony will be the responsibility of the group members.
TO APPLY:
1) Include a description detailing the history of the collaboration or organization, including any available individual bios;
2) a one-page project description of proposed activities for the residency;
3) any available work samples from either the group or individuals within the collaborating group. This can include writing samples up to 30 pages, up to 10 art images, or up to a 2 minute video.
4)Indicate the top two months your group could stay at the colony. (The residency will last 4-5 days and held toward the end of the normal residency months from April-November).
